Phoenix Bug Out Locations : Get to THE Bugout Location

” Should we stay or should we go now”
Plan ahead and get into action not into your head. With every conversation I have had with other people without a real plan, the very first thing they always mention is that picture, its floating stagnant in most everyone’s head.
You cant bug out of Phoenix in an emergency, well that’s a big YES you can and a big fat NO, both apply.
What you talking Willis??
First dont pretend your heading to grandma’s house for dinner a couple miles away, Ralph take the freeway it will faster… sure seems like alot of Ralphs out there.
Thats muscle memory that got you to the on ramp and then dead stuck. Muscle memory can be great but not in this case. If you have to bug out of Phoenix or any other major city for that matter, perhaps thinking in straight lines “muscle memory” like the other 1.4 million people will not have a great outcome.
Do your homework have a plan and if you got stuck or there was zero warning (and lets be honest that almost never happens, almost never) then get out of the city the quickest way out even if its going the opposite direction from your bug-out.
Sometimes heading south to go north is the best plan. Get it? Have several quickest ways out mapped to additional less used or least known round about’s to get back on, perhaps the main highway to your fallback or Phoenix Bug Out Location.
This is old country, there are trails to almost never used rough paved back ways in and out of the Phoenix area. Find them try to memorize them or at least keep a map in every vehicle you have of those roads less travelled in case of emergency.
If you have kids error on the side of caution, GET OUT EARLY come up to THE Phoenix bug out location. Worst case scenario you unplugged for a couple days hangout in quiet space enjoy a big fat rib-eye or fresh pulled salad with all kinds of veggies, and sometime quality downtime with the kids.
Don’t be Ralph.
Lord I apologize if someone named Ralph is reading this right now, right now.
